The mission field is not all overseas. It is also right here, in our own neighborhoods, where people are struggling and hurting and hungering for the wholeness Jesus brings.
This is the call the Lutheran Mission Society heard over 100 years ago, and the call that still drives LMS ministries today — ministering to the needs of the body with food, clothing and shelter; ministering to the needs of the soul with the Good News of Jesus.
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions. Join us for monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month (September-June).
'Take Them a Meal' simplifies the process for getting meals to anyone who needs assistance (new baby/adoption, illness, loss/grief, moving/new neighbor or any other life event where you might need short-term help with meals.) Meghan Lawson is the St. Paul program coordinator. If you would like more information or set up a meal schedule, contact Meghan(email@example.com).
Our monthly gatherings, which are scheduled for the second Monday of the month, are always informative, interesting and fun! For a list of the books we will be reading, contact Herm Schmidt (410-263-5529, firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our older members are very active in the life and ministry of the congregation. Every fall we celebrate their leadership and service in a special worship service entitled “Bless the Years." In this service either an individual or a couple are selected because of their years of their strong Christian role model to receive the “New Life in Christ Award”.
Please help Gracie's Lunchbox distribute lunchboxes to those in need and share the Gospel with the recipient. Consider distributing just ONE lunchbox!
Join us each summer for a week of learning more about God's love for us. Kids learn God's great love through story, music, snacks, games and more!
The luncheon is a joint event between St. Paul and Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM alternating between St. Paul Lutheran and AELC in Edgewater. The catered luncheon is $7.00 a person.
